Our client, a dynamic family office with investments in real estate and mining, is seeking a seasoned Vice President of Finance and Administration to lead and optimize the financial, regulatory, and administrative functions across two entrepreneurial, founder-led companies. This executive will play a pivotal role in shaping strategy, ensuring compliance, and driving operational excellence in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
This role represents a great opportunity for a high-potential finance leader to work directly with the CEO, gain broad exposure across real estate, mining, capital markets & regulatory compliance, and contribute to strategic initiative. The role is ideal for someone hands-on, digitally fluent, and eager to grow. Someone who can manage day-to-day financial operations while actively supporting leasing, financing, governance, and investor-related activities in a lean and dynamic environment.
The Vice President will be responsible for financial reporting, oversight of public company filings, coordination with auditors and legal counsel, banking management, lease administration, and support for capital markets activities. Working in a lean environment, the Vice President will act as the CEO’s primary financial partner, balancing day-to-day execution with strategic support across both organizations. With a focus on financial leadership and strategic support, the Vice President will become a key partner on financial operations, public company compliance, property-related financial matters, and capital markets support. The VP will interact regularly with auditors, lawyers, banks, regulators, and external accountants.
The ideal candidate is a finance and corporate administration professional who can balance strategy and execution in a lean, fast-paced environment. They bring strong fundamentals, sound judgment, and the confidence to work closely with an entrepreneurial, founder-CEO. Organized and tech-savvy, they manage public company requirements while handling a wide range of responsibilities, from reporting and regulatory filings to tenant negotiations, banking, and capital markets. Curious and proactive, they thrive on working with decision-makers and influencing how the business operates.
