The Senior Consultant leads the delivery of client engagements for the Leadership Advisory Practice (LAP), managing end-to-end projects and supporting client engagements within our leadership advisory offerings. This role combines delivery excellence with commercial awareness, requiring you to manage client relationships independently, provide insights to senior leaders, and contribute to business development activities. You will also mentor junior team members and help enhance the firm’s methodologies and offerings. The ideal candidate is a confident, collaborative professional who thrives in delivering high-quality client solutions and contributing to leadership advisory initiatives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Client Delivery & Impact

  • Lead the delivery of client engagements from scoping to completion, managing project teams and ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Manage day-to-day client relationships, anticipating needs and delivering proactive communication to ensure trust and retention.
  • Lead multi-phase engagements or larger, complex client programs with accountability for scope, timelines, and quality.
  • Diagnose client issues and contribute to solution design and delivery, demonstrating the ability to position and deliver tailored solutions.
  • Apply and adapt firm methodologies for project delivery, ensuring confidentiality, professional standards, and adherence to ethical principles.

Business & Practice Growth

  • Identify opportunities within existing accounts and contribute to proposal creation and client pitches.
  • Develop content and insights for internal and external audiences, such as presentations, articles, or webinars.
  • Apply market insights and emerging best practices to client engagements; contribute ideas for improving methodologies, tools, and delivery approaches.
  • Collaborate across multiple practices, regions, and teams to deliver integrated client solutions, share best practices, and strengthen the firm’s leadership advisory impact.

Expertise & Intellectual Contribution

  • Apply subject-matter expertise across two or more leadership advisory domains (e.g., leadership assessment, executive coaching, team coaching, succession, board advisory, strategic advisory) to deliver evidence-based, high-impact solutions.
  • Document learnings and contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, frameworks, and methodologies.

Leadership, Collaboration & Culture

  • Provide informal mentorship to junior team members, modeling collaboration and supporting their development.
  • Collaborate across multiple practices, regions, and teams to deliver integrated client solutions, share best practices, and strengthen the firm’s leadership advisory impact.
  • Contribute to an inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance team culture.
  • Commit to continuous learning and self-development to strengthen professional expertise and consulting effectiveness.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Advanced degree (MA or PhD) in Psychology, Business, or related field.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full client engagements independently, combining delivery excellence with commercial awareness.
  • 7 – 10 years developing practitioner credibility with applied experience in two or more leadership advisory domains (i.e., leadership assessment, executive coaching, team coaching, succession, board advisory, strategic advisory).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Hogan, ICF credentials) are highly desirable.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience preparing client presentations and reports.
