Health Standards Organization (HSO) is seeking an experienced and dynamic Managing Director, Diagnostics to join the team and contribute to the broader mission of HSO by collaborating with leading experts, policy makers, providers and people with lived experience to shape health quality standards and solutions applied across health and social services in Canada and globally. Reporting to Executive Vice President, Products and Strategic Offerings, the Managing Director will work closely with internal teams and external partners to lead the growth and transformation of HSO’s diagnostics portfolio, including labs, imaging, and invasive diagnostics.
The ideal candidate holds an extensive background in healthcare leadership, innovation, and portfolio management. Experienced in project management, driving consistent revenue growth, and the broader healthcare industry, this individual will have an in-depth understanding of operations, marketing, and leadership. With strategic growth and entrepreneurial mindset, the Managing Director, Diagnostics will identify new market and partnership opportunities, translate strategic goals into actionable outcomes, and guide a high-performing team.
Formed in February 2017, the goal of HSO is to unleash the power and potential of people around the world who share their passion for achieving quality health services for all. HSO is a registered non-profit organization headquartered in Ottawa, with offices in Toronto and Montreal, focused on 3 levers of change: developing standards, assessment programs, and capability building. Recognized by the Standards Council of Canada, HSO is the only Standards Development Organization dedicated to health and social services.
