They use research to drive their evidence-based marketing in ten key geographic leisure source markets: Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, Japan, Mexico, South Korea, United Kingdom and the United States. In addition, their Business Events team leverage in-depth global market analysis to target international clusters aligned with Canada's priority economic sectors.

The Executive Director, Enterprise Technology provides strategic leadership for Destination Canada’s enterprise technology ecosystem and internal platforms. The role is responsible for the governance, architecture, implementation and evolution of enterprise technology services including enterprise systems, integrations, infrastructure platforms, and information technology operations that enable Destination Canada’s business capabilities. The position ensures that enterprise technology environments operate in a secure, reliable, and interoperable manner while supporting organizational productivity and digital transformation towards an AI-enabled enterprise. The role oversees enterprise architecture, Software-as-a-Service platforms, infrastructure services, and the operational delivery of information technology services to staff across Canada and international offices.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic and forward-looking technology leader with a deep passion for architecting secure, modern, and scalable enterprise ecosystems. With extensive experience across cloud, integration, data, and cybersecurity domains, they will guide the organization through complex modernization efforts while embracing emerging capabilities in AI and digital platforms. A collaborative and influential partner, they will work seamlessly across technical and business teams to design resilient architectures that enable transformation and enhance customer engagement. Combining strong communication skills with a commitment to continuous learning, they will translate complex concepts for diverse audiences, foster alignment, and ensure that enterprise technology investments are both secure and future-ready.
