Ocean Capital is seeking a Senior Director, Financial Reporting, to partner closely with the Senior Vice President of Finance and the Senior Leadership Team of Ocean Capital. The role has two primary areas of responsibility. First, the Senior Director will be accountable for the accounting and reporting function within Ocean Capital, supporting the development of the company's annual budget, contributing to long-term strategic planning, driving continuous improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities to enhance, streamline, and automate data processes, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of actual financial results against target KPIs. The Senior Director will also provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities for the accounting and reporting team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. The second area of responsibility involves providing guidance and support to the finance teams within the operating businesses on accounting and reporting standards to ensure consistency and alignment with the corporate view. The Senior Director will assist with the oversight of the annual financial reporting cycle while supporting the maintenance of strong financial reporting standards, analysis, and consistency across the businesses. 

The ideal candidate will bring strong senior finance leadership experience, with a track record of success in complex and dynamic organizations. This individual will provide a strategic financial reporting perspective to the company’s business and investments while ensuring strong execution and operational discipline. The ideal candidate is a thoughtful and adaptable leader who can navigate complexity, balance strategic priorities with operational execution, and respond effectively to changing business needs. They demonstrate resilience under pressure while maintaining a constructive and solutions-oriented mindset. They are open to new ideas and approaches and actively support others through change. They will bring strong interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence, with the ability to understand different perspectives, build effective relationships, and work collaboratively across teams to achieve shared objectives.
