Reporting to the Board of Directors, the Chief Executive Officer provides strategic leadership, organizational vision, and executive oversight for the Ontario Trillium Foundation. The CEO is responsible for advancing OTF’s mandate, stewarding significant public investments, and ensuring the Foundation operates with the highest standards of accountability, transparency, and impact. Working closely with government partners, community stakeholders, volunteers, staff, and the Board, the CEO leads organizational strategy, grant-making excellence, operational performance, stakeholder engagement, and public representation while positioning OTF to respond effectively to the evolving needs of Ontario’s non-profit sector and communities.

The ideal candidate is a seasoned and values-driven executive with a demonstrated record of leading complex organizations in the non-profit, public, philanthropic, or community sectors. They bring strategic insight, political acuity, and a strong understanding of governance and public accountability, coupled with the ability to inspire teams and build trusted relationships across government, community, and sector partners. An exceptional communicator and collaborative leader, they are adept at navigating complexity, fostering consensus among diverse stakeholders, and championing innovation, equity, and measurable community impact. Above all, they possess a deep commitment to public service and a passion for strengthening communities across Ontario.
