The Toronto Parking Authority (TPA) operates North America’s third largest Bike Share system which has emerged as an integral component of Toronto’s public transit eco-system. Bike Share Toronto has trebled in size since 2019 with ridership now exceeding 7million annual trips with active membership of 40k people and customer satisfaction scores exceeding 90%. The system currently has a fleet of over 9000 bikes deployed at 900 stations across 23 of Toronto’s 25 wards.
Reporting to the Vice President of Operations, the Director of Bikeshare and Micro-Mobility is a high-profile leadership role that is responsible for the strategic direction of the Bike Share System including executional excellence, financial sustainability, customer experience, branding, and stakeholder engagement. The Director will also provide thought leadership in support of last mile mobility solutions in Toronto and advance the TPA’s development and deployment of mobility hubs across both the TPA’s and other City assets. As a key member of the senior leadership team of the TPA, the successful candidate will collaborate cross functionally with TPA staff, our Board, and City leadership in co-creating better mobility solutions for Torontonians across all modes of transit.
As the ideal candidate, you bring a deep understanding of how micro-mobility integrates with public transit, city planning, and broader climate strategies.
