Founded in 1851 and rooted in the Catholic Lasallian tradition, this independent, co-educational preparatory school serves over 600 students from Grades 5 through 12. De La Salle College is now seeking its next President, a visionary and mission-driven leader to guide the school into its next chapter. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to lead a respected institution at a pivotal moment of renewal and growth. The incoming President will play a critical role in ensuring continuity, while at the same time, bringing innovative ideas and energy to strengthening community relationships and advancing the College’s strategic vision. The school is currently undertaking a transformative capital project and is poised to launch a long-term campus master plan. The President will be instrumental in shaping this future, balancing operational excellence with a steadfast commitment to the Lasallian mission.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned educational leader with a deep personal alignment to the Catholic faith and a passion for ensuring a Christian and human education to all students entrusted to De La Salle College’s care. They will be a visionary, trustworthy, and empowering faith leader, with strong operational and financial acumen and an understanding of fundraising and philanthropy. The next President will demonstrate the ability to inspire and engage diverse stakeholders and have a deep commitment to a world-class academic experience. The successful candidate will be a visible and approachable presence on campus, a champion of accessibility and inclusion, and a tireless advocate for the College’s mission to support all students, especially those who are underserved. Above all else, the successful candidate will model Catholic Lasallian values and demonstrate the strength of character needed to lead through complex challenges, ensuring students are prepared for a life of service and leadership.
De La Salle College has partnered with the leadership advisory firm Odgers to support the recruitment process. Applications are now being accepted and should be submitted online, ideally by September 30, 2025. Interviews with the Search Committee will take place during the fall months, with the new President assuming office in the summer of 2026.
